In some cultures the Ylang Ylang flower is strewn across the marriage bed as a symbol of love.  This calming sweet essence brings feelings of joy and sensuality and is widely used as an aphrodisiac to help with impotency and frigidity.  Ylang Ylang balances hormones and mood swings.  Lowers blood pressure and provides a sensual glow.

Use in bath water, as a body perfume, diffuse, add to hair and skin products.  Use as a hair/scalp tonic.  Beneficial for dry hair.  

Apply in moderation as its heady scent may cause headaches or nausea.
